With more than 4,000 sq ft of open living space, this home is ideal for large families and groups looking to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the very best of Michigan City's premier resort community.

INDOOR LIVING
The main level is the heart of the home, anchored by a gourmet kitchen with the largest island at Beachwalk — 12 feet by 4 feet of gathering space for cooking, snacking, or catching up. The kitchen is fully stocked with a large refrigerator with freezer and ice maker, wine fridge, gas stove, microwave, toaster oven, hot water boiler, drip coffee maker, Keurig, 1000W blender, and a pantry filled with coffees, teas, spices, and condiments — every drawer and cabinet thoughtfully filled with everything you might need.
The open layout flows effortlessly into a warm living area featuring a sectional sofa with seating for 14, dining for 12, a smart TV, a game table for four, and a dual-sided gas fireplace shared with the screened back porch. A smart home console controls lighting, climate, and entertainment throughout the entire property. Complimentary WiFi is available everywhere, backed by six wireless access points for strong, reliable connection indoors and out. All indoor and outdoor spaces feature built-in speakers, ambient lighting, and cooling fans.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
Set Sail! comfortably accommodates up to 18 guests across five bedrooms, all located on the second floor:
Master 1 — King bed, private en-suite bathroom
Master 2 — King bed, private en-suite bathroom (with TV)
Bedroom 3 — Queen bed, shared bathroom
Bedroom 4 — 2 twin beds + 2 pull-out trundle beds, shared bathroom
Bedroom 5 — 2 twin beds + 2 pull-out trundle beds, shared bathroom
Living Room — Queen sleeper sofa, powder room
Basement — Queen sleeper sofa, full bathroom

All bedrooms feature highly-rated springless mattresses, ceiling fans, and window shading. Every room is uniquely decorated for a comfortable and memorable stay.

BASEMENT
On the lower level, the entertainment basement offers even more room to spread out — a large-screen TV perfect for gaming or movie nights, a full-size ping pong table, a children's book library, and a full bathroom.

OUTDOOR LIVING
Set Sail! boasts the largest screened back porch at Beachwalk, overlooking a pristine forest preserve — and guests agree it's the nicest, too. It features a cozy dual-sided fireplace enjoyed simultaneously from both the living room and the porch, a flat-screen TV, ambient lighting, cooling fans, a large dining table for 12, and high-end wicker lounge furniture. It's equally perfect for quiet mornings, family dinners, or lively evening gatherings.
Just outside, a cozy brick patio with a gas-fed instant fire pit is perfect for s'mores after the beach — sticks provided, just bring your marshmallows. A Weber E-310 gas grill is at your disposal for cookouts. The front porch on Mary Lane is another favorite — comfortable rocking chairs and a front-row seat to the friendly, lively atmosphere of resort guests cruising by on golf carts and flyer wagons.
A bright yellow golf cart is included with your stay and easy to spot in the parking lot — available April 1 through November 1 (weather permitting). Two bicycles are also available, with additional rentals nearby. The garage is stocked with just about everything you need for a great day outdoors — beach chairs, clean towels, umbrellas, floaties, badminton, bocce ball, axe throwing, pull wagon, flyer wagon, beach games, and water floaties. Just bring your bathing suit.

BEACHWALK RESORT AMENITIES
Your rental includes on-premises parking and full access to all Beachwalk Resort amenities and activities:
Lake Michigan Beach — Stop 7 of the Indiana National Lakeshore; walk or golf cart to the shore in minutes
Lake Kai Activity Center — kayak and paddleboard rentals, shuffleboard, bocce ball, and a seasonal fishing pier
Club House — large heated community pool with expansive deck space, toddler pool, brand new splash pad, beach playground, basketball, beach volleyball, and tennis courts; the Club House tower offers sweeping views of Lake Michigan and the resort; home to the Beach Hut Café with indoor and outdoor seating, plus pool and ping pong tables
Weekly Events — Movie Night every Tuesday at 6PM (ice cream and popcorn at the Beach Hut), Music in the Park every Saturday 5–8PM featuring local artists, and seasonal yoga Monday and Wednesday mornings at 8AM
Fishing — catch and release dawn to dusk at multiple piers and ponds throughout the resort, including the main pier at 234 Beachwalk Lane and ponds at Waterfall Park and Putting Green Park; bring your own rods and bait
Putting Green — at 116 Power Lane, pond-side with plenty of shade; clubs and balls not provided
Cassin Park Playground — remodeled June 2023, right across the street from Set Sail!

Booking Policy: Just like hotels, we require a valid credit card for a security & damage deposit hold 1 day before your stay. A signed rental agreement must also be completed within 48 hours of booking to confirm your reservation.
